You missed out!

Lets get started with Respiratory Care of the Critically Ill patient.

We all know that Critical Care can be intimidating. You walk in on that first day and it can seem overwhelming. All that machinery! You know there are patients in there somewhere.

It's hard enough to get yourself settled into the Critical Care way of looking after our patients. What I only have to look after one patient? You quickly realize that can be a mountain to climb when they are really sick.

The experienced staff seem so slick don't they? When they reach for the ventilator it is a click here and a twist there and everything seems to be taken care of!

So much terminology, so much information on the screen and graphs constantly changing.

It can be confusing and maybe a little terrifying!

Respiratory Care is so important to our patients- possibly the cornerstone of all their care.

The COVID experience has certainly proved that over the last few months and many new staff have had to learn fast!

I can help you with many of your questions ensuring you can deliver high quality care.

"Respiratory Care of the Critically Ill Patient"

This online video course will teach you all the skills and knowledge you need to make sure you are able to use the ventilator most effectively. This will also ensure that the patient is on the optimum mode and the settings for them are appropriate. You will also know when it is the right moment to start weaning your patient. And you will be able to teach others!

Don't just take my word for it!

Step by step

If you can understand the basics then mechanical ventilation is no longer a mystery.

And once you do understand the basics you can help others learn too..

Learn at your pace

Understanding mechanical ventilation is not so hard I promise.

If you are tired of chasing others for teaching and then forgetting everything they have said when you were on a busy shift this is your chance to do it in your own time.

Your patient benefits

You will become a more valuable part of the team and able to offer your informed opinions on what should happen next.

This can only benefit your patient because of the improvement in their care...because of your learning.

faq

How long will the course take?

That really is up to you. There are seventeen videos which is about two and a half hours of content. Plus the written material. You could be brave and do it all at once but I would recommend watching one video at a time, making sure you understand it, and then come back to another a day or two later. Reinforce that learning!

How long are the videos?

Most are less than 10 minutes long. I know I have a short attention span so didn't want to make each one too long. there are some that are longer than that but they are the exception.

What if I don't find it valuable for me?

Absolutely no problem. I know it might not be for everyone. You can just get in touch with me to let me know and if it's within 14 days of purchase you can have your money back no questions asked. So you really have nothing to lose!

Sign Up! Become that better practitioner!

With this teaching I know I can help you to become a better practitioner. Learning at your pace and in your time and you can watch the videos again and again.

I have been where you are now- let me help you help your patient.
